Protecting the oil also means protecting it throughout the journey.
A bottle passes through several stages before reaching its destination. Packaging is therefore not a detail: it needs to protect the glass, reduce unnecessary waste and use materials that are consistent with the product it contains.
Olivarum uses packaging solutions designed for transporting bottles, adapting them to the format, quantity and destination of each order.
Protection, materials, proportion.
Protect the glass
We choose packaging designed to stabilise bottles and absorb shocks during the most critical stages of transport.
Reduce plastic
We favour cardboard-based systems and recyclable materials, avoiding plastic components whenever they are not necessary.
Use what is needed
Packaging should be proportionate to the order: strong enough to protect the product, without adding unnecessary material.
NAKPACK® for bottle shipping.
For many of our shipments we use NAKPACK®, a system specifically designed for transporting glass bottles.
Its internal structure wraps and supports the bottle at its most vulnerable points, helping to reduce the risk of breakage during handling and delivery.
Packaging follows the product.
Not every bottle has the same shape and not every order requires the same solution.
Special formats, producer packaging, gift boxes or multi-item orders may require different packaging solutions. In these cases, we choose the option best suited to protecting the product throughout its journey.
Packaging is only one part of the journey.
Protecting the product also means choosing the right timing and shipping conditions.
In periods of high temperatures or when transport conditions could compromise the quality of the oil, we may postpone a shipment or agree a different solution with the customer.
